Tasked with creating a video highlighting certain behaviors related to digital media, a colleague and I devised a story split into two contrasting pieces.
I played Léandre in the first part, a live-action narrative. The second part featured a message from Ceres, the company set to hire him.
Making two videos interact and predicting audience reactions was an exhilarating challenge.
The concept and art direction were inspired by the analog horror genre, characterized by low-quality footage, cryptic messages, and retro aesthetics reminiscent of late-20th-century media. This subgenre has recently gained immense popularity thanks to series like The Mandela Catalogue on YouTube.
